I have used the mx500 mouse shape since like 2004 including the mx500, g7 wireless mouse, mx518 and then I switched to the DeathAdder shape in 2014. With all that said, I couldn’t notice any difference with the g900. Even after reading countless “no input lag” reviews, I read the same type of reviews for g602 and a few others and I was never satisfied, every experience was just miserable like driving a boat. I consider myself as someone who can notice even the smallest lag or unsmooth reponse so I bought the g900 expecting to be disappointed. It takes a lot to push it down and that’s something I wish I could change even with a DIY mod. The one thing I hate about the g900 (and I use the word hate for emphasis) is the middle click button. The actuation force seems lower on the Elite as well. The travel distance is also shorter for the Elite. It’s not as click/snappy as the g900, it’s got more of a mechanical switch feel and it kind of scratches (reminds me of MX Brown switches after you type on a Topre).
